Welcome to the National Clarion CC

The National Clarion Cycling Club formed in 1895 and has some 25 member sections throughout the UK. From the West of Scotland down to Brighton & Hove.

Clarion gives family membership advantages - following this year's conference, the Clarion has announced new membership category of 'family' which shall consist of two paid up Senior (or life) members living at the same household address and may include any number of Juniors (U18) (at same address) at no further cost for full Junior membership.

Cambridge Clarion section seeks new members - We are looking for members to join a new Cambridge section. Initially we are running clubruns from Toft for any potential members and already have some 5 members. If you are interested please contact Ian Mc Nally i.mcnally@idnet.com  or Ian Clarke at bike@clarioncc.org

See us at the CTC York Rally 20th & 21st June

The Clarion is having a stall at the York Cycle Rally. We will be actively seeking people who wish to start a section in York, Humberside and Lincoln, if you want to chat about it contact: bike@clarioncc.org

Easter 2009 Ramsbottom, clubrun to Bacup

Clarion Book by Denis Pye

Fellowship is Life: This great book about the history of the Clarion from 1895 to 1995 is a real must-read for anyone interested in the Clarion. It tells the first 100 years story of this great club which has now been running for 114 years. (do not confuse us with other clubs) If you want to buy the book, we hope you will buy it here and not anywhere else, that may not have paid for the books yet. Click on the menu on the left to find the order form.

2009 Easter Meet - Ramsbottom - a sunny success The 2009 meet this Easter was a huge success with suntans and laughter and music thereafter...a painfully challenging sportive over Waddington Fell and around the Pendle Hill. Our prize presentation and gala dinner went on until the early hours of Easter Monday, with guest of honour Peter Graham (ex Nat' Hill Climb champ) and Peter Roscoe keeping us entertained and in fits of laughter. Club Chairman Dave Bisset attempted to keep order as MC but after cross toasting emptied a few bottles of vino, he only added to the Clarion cheer - Easter Meet and Drink they say...not half!
