The National Clarion Cycling Club formed in 1895 and has some 25 member sections throughout the UK. From the West of Scotland down to Brighton & Hove.

The National Clarion Cycling Club affiliates to the Cyclists Touring Club.
At our annual conference at Stamford, Easter 2008 it was decided to affilate to the CTC. To support our attendance at this year's York Rally (21/22 June), but MORE importantly to allow our members to get CTC 'affiliate membership' at a reduced rate of £12 (as opposed to the CTC full membership), giving members the benefit of 3rd party liability insurance and legal advice from the CTC.
Clarion members may now request CTC affiliate membership through Clarion headquarters, ask your section secretary how.

IMPORTANT NOTE!
The National Clarion CC is not linked to the National Clarion CC 1895, that club was formed by a name change from Oakhill Clarion in 2006. Neither Oakhill Clarion nor National Clarion CC 1895 (North Lancs Union) are sections of the Clarion. This Clarion is the only one with continual (and democratic) organisation since its founders met in 1894. This Clarion has evolved to what it is today a GREAT bike club with respect for its history and its current membership.
