The National Clarion Cycling Club was formed in 1894, today with more members than we have had since the 1960s and 30 sections from Tuxford to Nottingham (and lots of other places much further afield)...fellowship awheel.

Men's winner - Martin Knight Nott'm Clarion, 2nd Ade Hughes N.Cheshire, 3rd Martin Smith Tuxford

Team winner - Nottingham 249pts, 2nd North Cheshire 179pts, 3rd Tuxford 160pts
Clarion Hill Climb Championships
Congratulations to Michael Cooke of Nottingham Clarion who won the National Clarion Hill Climb Champs in a time of 2 minute 45 seconds. 2nd place Martin Smith of Tuxford was 1 second behind and in 3rd was Matt Hacker of North Cheshire in 2m 48s. 1st U16 was Ozzie Chmiel (2.50), 1st U14 was Will Beech (3.28) both of Nottingham Clarion, 1st U12 was Josh Giddings of Heanor (3.26) and 1st U10 was Euan Hacker (4.19). 1st vet 50+ was Lynden Leadbeater of Fenland (2.56) and 1st vet 60+ was Paul Harwood of Nottingham (3.58)

Easter Meet 2015 - 3rd to 6th April - Llangollen WalesWith the HQ to be held at the Wild Pheasant Hotel and Spa www.wildpheasanthotel.co.uk . The organiser is Frank Vaughan of the Yorkshire Coast Clarion. firstname.lastname@example.orgThe programme, on the Saturday includes the Conference, a walk, social ride and ceilidh in the evening, with a hot buffet.Sunday will have two social rides and during the evening there will be the Annual Prize Presentation, with an excellent menu choice. Choices will be made on the Friday, when either booking in at the hotel or signing on for your Easter Meet ribbons. All dietary requirements can be catered for.
A hilly Time Trial is being investgated by Steve Clarke (Fenland Clarion) so keep an eye on here about further details.
